If your community would like an event of its own, we run it. You bring the room and the people; everything that makes it work is handled from our side.
Who this is for #
- Mosques and Islamic centres with a congregation asking for something organised.
- Community and cultural associations serving a particular background.
- University Islamic societies, where the age range is naturally close.
- Professional and alumni networks whose members are hard to bring together otherwise.
Events grouped by a shared background tend to work better than open ones, because the people meeting already have something in common before they sit down.
What we handle #
- Registration - an application form built for your event, with its own page on this site.
- Review - every application read individually, against criteria you and we agree.
- Matching - on age, location, practice, education, profession and stated preferences, run once registration closes.
- Invitations - acceptances, joining details and reminders, on schedule.
- The evening - check-in, the structure of the introductions, and running the session.
What we need from you #
A venue or a decision to run online. A date, with a registration window that closes far enough ahead for matching to run. Reach into the community you want to serve. And a named contact who can make decisions on the day.
Guardians
One guardian may accompany each female guest, waiting in a separate lounge with refreshments and joining at the end. If you host with us, plan for that second room - it is the arrangement every one of our events runs.
How the conversation starts #
Tell us who your community is, roughly how many people you expect, and when you would like to run. We come back with what is realistic for that size and timeline, and what it would involve. The detail is on the host an event page, and the contact page reaches a person directly.
