Who we are
Muslim Matchmaking Event runs structured matchmaking events for Muslims across England – in person and online, for marriage.
We are not a dating app and not a walk-in social. Everyone in the room applied first, was reviewed by a person, and was matched against the rest of the list before invitations went out. By the time you sit down with someone, you have both been through exactly the same process.
Events are grouped by community and background so you are meeting people you already have something in common with, and a guardian is welcome at every one of them.

What we do
Three ways to take part, all running through the same review and matching.
In-person events
Evening events in cities across England, grouped by community. Structured introductions, refreshments, and a compatibility list waiting for you when you arrive.
Online events
The same application, the same review and the same matching – held over video instead. The joining link is sent once your place is confirmed.
Host an event
If your community would like an event of its own, we handle the registration, the matching and the running of the evening. You bring the room and the people.
How it works
You will hear from us within 3-5 days of registration closing.
1
Apply to an event
Tell us about yourself, your practice, your work and what you are looking for. It takes about ten minutes.
2
We read every application
Nothing is automatic. Registration closes ahead of the event so there is time to review each one properly.
3
We match before the day
Age, location, practice, education, profession and your own stated preferences all feed the matching.
4
You attend
Structured introductions in a comfortable, respectful setting – with a guardian welcome where you would like one.
Events
Every event runs the same way: you apply, a person reads your application, and matching happens before invitations go out.
Everything on the calendar - in person and online, open now and coming up.

Not everyone can travel to a hall on a weekday evening. Online events run the same way as the in-person ones — you apply with the same form, your application is read by the same team, and matching runs on the same criteria. The difference is only the room: once your place is confirmed you get a joining link, and the introductions happen over video at the scheduled time.
