About us
Matchmaking events for Muslims, across England
In person and online, for marriage. Everyone in the room applied first, was read by a person, and was matched against the rest of the list before invitations went out.
We are not a dating app
Our events are not walk-in socials either. By the time you sit down with someone, you have both been through exactly the same process: the same form, the same review, the same matching.
Most people who come to us have already tried the alternatives. The complaint is almost always the same – too much time spent on introductions that were never going to work, and no way to tell in advance.
So we moved the filtering to before the event rather than during it. You tell us about your practice, your work, your family situation and what you are looking for. We read it. Then we do the matching, and you arrive with a short list of people worth your evening instead of a room of strangers and a name badge.
How an event works
- You applyAbout ten minutes. Your background, your practice, your education and work, and what you want in a spouse.
- We reviewEvery application is read individually. Registration closes ahead of the event so there is time to do it properly.
- We matchOnce the full list is in – on age, location, practice, education, profession, views on children, and your own stated preferences.
- You hear from usWithin three to five days of registration closing you will know whether you have a place.
- You attendStructured introductions, a comfortable and respectful setting, refreshments throughout.
Registration closes before the event for one reason: matching needs the complete list. If we accepted applications up to the day, the people who applied early would be matched against a smaller pool than the people who applied late.
What the form asks
So that there are no surprises when you open it. Applying is free – where an individual event carries a charge, the amount is stated on that event’s page before you apply.

Guardians are welcome
A guardian may accompany any female guest – one per guest. Guardians wait in a separate lounge with refreshments and are welcome to join at the end. Tell us on the application form if you are bringing someone, so we plan the room accordingly.
On the night
- Thirty minutes before the startArrival and check-in. Bring valid photo ID – everything else is provided.
- A short welcomeHow the evening runs, explained before anything begins.
- Structured introductionsWith the people you have been matched to, one at a time.
- Open conversationTime to talk to anyone you would like to speak to again.
Dress is smart and modest. There is no stricter code than that.
Where we run
Events take place in cities across England, grouped by community and background so that you are meeting people you already have something in common with. General events are open to everyone.
Online events are different in one respect only – the room. The same application, the same review by the same team, the same matching. The introductions happen over video at the scheduled time, and the joining link is personal to you.
What we do with what you write
The form is read by the team that reviews applications and runs the matching. Other guests never see it. What they learn about you at the event is what you choose to tell them.
You can withdraw at any time. Tell us and we will remove you from the event and, if you ask, delete your information. The detail is in our privacy policy.
What we ask of you
Come with the intention of marriage, be honest on the form, and treat everyone you meet with respect. That is the whole of it.
Applications that do not read as serious are not accepted, and places are limited – the balance of men and women has to work, so not every application can be accepted for every event. We would rather run a smaller event than a crowded one.
Come to an event
Open the event you are interested in and complete the form on that page. If you would rather ask something first, a person answers – not a queue.
