Terms and conditions
The agreement between you and Muslim Matchmaking Event when you apply to an event.
These Terms and Conditions explain the rules, responsibilities and guidelines that apply when you access our website, register for our events, communicate with our team, or participate in any matchmaking activity organised by us.
Effective date: 20 August 2026
By using our website or attending any Muslim Matchmaking Event, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services or attend our events.
Our aim is to provide a respectful, professional and safe environment where Muslim individuals can meet potential marriage partners through organised introductions while maintaining dignity, privacy and Islamic values.
About Muslim Matchmaking Event
Muslim Matchmaking Event provides organised marriage introduction events for Muslim individuals who are seeking a suitable spouse. Our events are designed to bring together people who share similar values, religious beliefs, cultural understanding and the intention of building a meaningful relationship leading towards marriage.
We recognise that finding a suitable spouse can be challenging, particularly for Muslims living in modern societies where traditional family introductions may not always be available. Our events provide an opportunity for individuals to meet others in a structured and respectful environment, combining traditional values with a modern approach.
Muslim Matchmaking Event does not provide marriage guarantees, relationship guarantees, background verification, legal advice, or personal recommendations about individual participants. Our role is to organise events and create opportunities for introductions. Any decision regarding communication, engagement, marriage or future relationships remains the responsibility of each participant.
Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions:
- Muslim Matchmaking Event, we, us or our refers to the organisation providing matchmaking events and related services.
- Website refers to this website.
- Event refers to any matchmaking gathering, introduction event or activity organised by us.
- Participant, attendee, you or your refers to any person who registers for or attends an event.
- Services refers to our website, event registration, communications and matchmaking opportunities.
Our services
Our services may include organising matchmaking events, providing registration facilities, communicating event information, facilitating introductions between participants, providing guidance about event procedures, and supporting participants during the event process.
The exact format and services provided may vary depending on the event location, venue, participant numbers and specific event requirements. We reserve the right to modify, improve or update our services when necessary.
Eligibility and participation
To participate in our events you must meet the requirements stated for the relevant event. Participants must:
- be genuinely interested in marriage;
- provide accurate personal information;
- be legally able to consider marriage under applicable laws;
- treat other participants, organisers and venue staff with respect;
- follow all event rules and instructions.
Our events are designed for adults making their own personal decisions regarding marriage. If we discover that a participant has provided false, misleading or incomplete information, we reserve the right to cancel their registration or remove them from an event.
Registration and personal information
When registering you may be required to provide your full name, contact details, age, gender, location, cultural background, marriage preferences and other information required for event organisation.
You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is correct and up to date. Registration information must not contain false identities or details intended to deceive other participants. We reserve the right to request clarification or additional information where necessary.
Booking and confirmation
Submitting a registration request does not automatically guarantee attendance. Your place is confirmed only when the required registration details have been completed, any applicable payment has been received, and confirmation has been provided by us.
Places may be limited to maintain a comfortable environment and allow sufficient opportunity for meaningful conversations. We reserve the right to decline registrations, including where there are capacity limits, incomplete information, previous breaches of event rules, or concerns regarding suitability.
Event format and introductions
Events may include welcome introductions, guidance from organisers, structured conversations, individual introductions, and opportunities for follow-up communication. The format may differ depending on the event type.
Participants understand that successful introductions depend on many personal factors including personality, communication style, religious values, family expectations, lifestyle preferences and future goals. While we aim to create meaningful opportunities, we cannot guarantee that every participant will find a suitable match.
Marriage intentions
Participants should have a genuine intention of seeking marriage. The purpose of these events is not casual dating or entertainment, and participants should approach the experience with seriousness, respect and maturity.
Muslim Matchmaking Event does not decide whether two individuals are compatible and does not influence personal marriage decisions. Participants are encouraged to involve trusted family members or advisors where appropriate.
No guarantee of results
We provide opportunities for introductions but do not guarantee finding a spouse, a specific number of introductions, compatibility with another participant, continued communication after the event, or engagement or marriage.
Attending an event does not create any obligation to communicate further or pursue marriage with another attendee.
Payments and fees
Some activities require payment before attendance is confirmed. All event prices, booking fees and payment requirements are displayed during the registration process. By completing payment you confirm that you understand the event details and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Payments must be made through the approved payment methods we provide. You are responsible for ensuring that payment information is accurate; we are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect payment information.
We reserve the right to change event prices, fees or payment methods when necessary. Changes will be communicated clearly and will not affect confirmed bookings unless required by law or agreed otherwise.
Event fees cover participation in the organised event and the related services described at the time of booking. They do not represent payment for a guaranteed match, marriage opportunity or specific outcome.
Cancellation and refunds
All bookings and payments are strictly non-refundable. Once registration and payment are complete the booking is considered confirmed, and no refund will be provided.
This includes where a participant decides not to attend, is unable to attend due to personal circumstances, arrives late or leaves early, changes their mind after booking, or does not find a suitable match.
Event organisation requires advance planning, venue arrangements, administration costs and preparation based on confirmed registrations, which is the reason for this policy.
Where a participant cannot attend, we may offer to transfer the booking to a future event date, subject to availability and approval. A transferred booking must be requested before the original event date, applies only to a future event organised by us, is subject to available places, and is not confirmed until we say so.
Failure to attend without prior communication means the booking is considered used, and no refund or transfer is available.
Full detail is on our refund policy page.
Changes and cancellation by us
We make every effort to deliver events as advertised, but circumstances outside our control may require changes. We reserve the right to change event dates, times, venues and formats, and to postpone or cancel events – for reasons including venue availability, safety considerations, government requirements, operational difficulties and unexpected circumstances.
Where possible we will provide reasonable notice of significant changes and communicate the available alternatives. We are not responsible for costs participants may incur relating to travel, accommodation, childcare or other personal arrangements connected with attending an event.
Conduct and behaviour
All participants must treat others with respect and dignity, communicate politely, respect personal boundaries, follow instructions from organisers, maintain appropriate Islamic manners and values, and respect cultural and personal differences.
The following are prohibited:
- harassment or intimidation;
- offensive or abusive language;
- discrimination;
- unwanted physical contact;
- inappropriate questions or conversations;
- persistent unwanted communication;
- misrepresentation of identity or personal circumstances;
- attempting to collect personal information without permission;
- recording or photographing attendees without consent.
We reserve the right to refuse entry, remove participants, or restrict future participation where behaviour does not meet these standards. No refund will normally be provided where a participant is removed due to misconduct.
Privacy between participants
Marriage-related information is personal and private, and we expect all attendees to respect the confidentiality of others. Participants must not share another person’s contact details without permission, publish information about another attendee online, share photographs or videos taken during events, discuss private conversations without consent, or use participant information for commercial purposes.
Any personal information exchanged between participants after an introduction is the responsibility of those individuals. We cannot control communication that takes place outside our organised events.
Personal safety and responsibility
While we take reasonable steps to create a respectful and organised environment, participants remain responsible for their own decisions and safety. We encourage attendees to take time to get to know potential matches, ask appropriate questions, verify information independently, seek advice from trusted family members or advisors, and make careful decisions before progressing towards marriage.
Participants should not assume that information provided by another person has been independently verified by us. We do not conduct full background checks on attendees unless specifically stated for a particular service.
Communication after events
Participants may choose to continue communication with people they have met. We do not manage, supervise or control private communication after introductions have been made. Any agreement, relationship, engagement or marriage resulting from that communication is solely between those individuals.
Website use
You must not use the website for illegal purposes, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with website operation, upload harmful content, submit false information, copy website materials without permission, or use our services to promote unrelated businesses.
We aim to keep website information accurate and updated, but we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, error-free or continuously available.

Where necessary, information may be shared with trusted service providers who assist us with operating our website, processing payments, managing events or providing technical support.
Registration data and future event communication
By registering, participants agree that the information provided may be securely stored and used for purposes related to our matchmaking services, including managing registrations, communicating event information, informing participants about future events, inviting participants to suitable upcoming events, and improving our event organisation.
Registration details may be used to contact participants regarding future events, including events in different locations or on new dates. Participants may request to update their information or stop receiving future marketing communications by contacting us.

Third-party services and links
Our website may contain links to external websites, payment providers and social media platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for the content of external websites, the privacy practices of third parties, the availability of external services, or the accuracy of third-party information.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Muslim Matchmaking Event is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from participation in our events, communication between participants, personal decisions made by attendees, relationships formed after introductions, information provided by other participants, failure to find a suitable spouse, or personal circumstances affecting attendance.
Our service is limited to organising matchmaking opportunities and providing a platform for introductions. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
Participant acknowledgement
By registering for or attending an event you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily, you understand the purpose of the event, you accept that outcomes cannot be guaranteed, you are responsible for your own decisions, you will treat other participants respectfully, and you will maintain confidentiality regarding other attendees.

If you have a concern, complaint or suggestion, please contact us as soon as possible with your full name, contact information, details of your concern and the relevant event information. We review complaints fairly and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes to our services, legal requirements, operational improvements or changes in how we manage events. Any updated version will be published on this page with the revised effective date.
