About this event

Our Revert Muslim Matchmaking Event provides a professional, welcoming, respectful and marriage-focused environment where Muslim reverts can meet potential spouses who appreciate their journey and are serious about marriage.

For someone who has embraced Islam, the journey towards marriage can come with unique considerations. Reverts may be looking for a spouse who understands not only their Islamic faith, but also their personal journey, family circumstances, cultural background and experiences before becoming Muslim.

Whether you are a new Muslim or have been Muslim for many years, this event provides an opportunity to meet people who are open to understanding your journey and building a future based on Islamic values.

Understanding the Journey of a Revert

Becoming Muslim is not simply about changing a religious label. For many people it involves learning a new way of practising faith, developing new relationships, discovering Islamic traditions and sometimes navigating differences with family members or friends.

A revert may be learning about Islamic practices while also maintaining relationships with non-Muslim relatives. They may have questions about marriage, family life and raising children, and may be concerned about whether a potential spouse will accept their background.

We do not believe that being a revert should be treated as a disadvantage. It is one part of a person’s story. Character, faith, kindness, communication, emotional maturity and compatibility remain the foundations of a successful marriage.

Why Reverts Can Find Marriage Introductions Challenging

Some reverts may not have Muslim relatives who can help with introductions. Some may have recently joined a Muslim community and are still building their social network. Others may live in areas where the Muslim community is relatively small.

Some may feel uncertain about how potential spouses will respond to their background, or worry about questions surrounding family relationships, culture or their level of Islamic knowledge.

Instead of relying entirely on existing family or community networks, reverts can take part in an organised matchmaking experience designed specifically to create meaningful introductions.

Finding Someone Who Understands Your Journey

For many reverts, one of the most important things in a marriage is having a spouse who understands their journey. This does not necessarily mean the spouse must also be a revert.

A born Muslim may be an excellent match for a revert if they are open-minded, respectful and willing to understand their partner’s circumstances. Likewise, a revert may find another revert particularly relatable because they share similar experiences.

Every person is different. There is no single formula for a successful marriage — our role is to create opportunities for people to meet and discover what they have in common.

Family and Marriage

A potential spouse may have Muslim parents, siblings and relatives, while a revert may have non-Muslim parents or relatives. This can raise questions about family gatherings, holidays, children, traditions and relationships between families.

These are important matters to discuss when a relationship becomes serious. Our event does not attempt to make these decisions for participants; it provides an opportunity to begin discussing them.

A Respectful Space for Genuine Marriage Intentions

We understand that marriage is a deeply personal matter. For this reason we are committed to creating an environment based on respect, privacy, honesty, good manners, sincerity and serious intentions.

Every participant should feel comfortable throughout the experience, and everyone attending is expected to treat others with respect and maintain appropriate boundaries.

Personal information should be treated responsibly. No participant should share another person’s contact details, photographs or private conversations without permission.

Finding the Right Person Takes Time

There is no single path to marriage. Some people meet someone quickly, while others attend several events before finding a person with whom they feel genuine compatibility.

The purpose of our event is not to promise a particular outcome. Our role is to provide the opportunity — a structured environment where people can meet, communicate and explore shared values.

Your Journey Towards Marriage Starts Here

The Revert Muslim Matchmaking Event brings together individuals who share faith, understanding and a genuine intention for marriage. If you are looking for a respectful and professional way to meet potential marriage partners, this could be your opportunity to take the next step.
