A plain list of what has actually changed, in case something you use has moved.
Matching now understands the gap between two ages #
The application used to ask only for an age range - "someone between 25 and 35". It now also asks two questions that most people find easier to answer honestly:
- How many years apart, at most? Leave it blank if the gap does not matter to you.
- Older or younger than you? Or either, which is a real answer rather than a non-answer.
Both sides have to be content for a pair to score well, and stating no preference is not treated as a complaint. Each event can also set its own limit on how far apart two people can be, and where an event does that, its page says so.
Community pages #
Each community now has a page of its own explaining who the events are for, rather than only a filtered list of dates.
The blog is organised #
Articles sit under five sections - Islamic guidance, Before you attend, Married life, Stories and News - so it is possible to find the ones you want without reading down a single list.
The terms are readable #
The terms and conditions run to twenty-nine sections. They now open with a list of those sections, each one linked, and the text is set at a width meant for reading. Not a word of the terms themselves changed.
Event pages are in a better order #
The description of an event used to sit below sixteen collapsed questions, which meant most people never reached it. It now comes first, and the questions are at the foot where reference material belongs.
Something not working?
If a page looks wrong or a link goes somewhere it should not, tell us - the contact page reaches a person. That is more useful than you might think; most of what gets fixed is reported by someone using it.
